Taxation Manager Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee advisory engagements for Indian and foreign MNCs involving mergers, demergers, business and share acquisitions, investment structuring, and joint ventures.
  • Support clients throughout the business lifecycle by conducting detailed quantitative analysis, managing seamless execution of plans, and applying effective structuring strategies.
  • Ideate tax structuring options for multinational clients and evaluate India inbound structuring options.
  • Manage end-to-end regulatory compliance processes for acquisitions and coordinate the implementation of subsequent mergers and consolidations across India.

Client Management & Business Development:

  • Proactively communicate with clients, respond to their needs, and share updates on assignment development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CFOs and Tax Directors to create a high-quality professional network.
  • Devising pitch proposals for client meetings and identifying new business opportunities in existing clients.

A/C Mining/Revenue:

  • Identify new business opportunities by tracking developments at the client end, tax arena, and overall industry trends.
  • Build credibility and deliver high-quality solutions while building rapport with Principal/ Partners client and key stakeholders.

Knowledge Management:

  • Understand the tax compliance landscape and ideate how technology can be used to make the compliance process more effective.
  • Acquire industry insights to improvise on current services and develop content for networking in external events & seminars.

Brand Management:

  • Represent expertise and scope of service at various external forums and interact with peers to build a high-quality network.
  • Publish articles & research papers on a regular basis and share knowledge and learning at external forums.

People Management:

  • Provide guidance to the team to enable them to deliver on assignments and identify challenges so that they can be overcome quickly.
  • Connect with team members regularly to ensure the assignment is closed within agreed TAT and track team performance.

Client Delivery:

  • Review available information, assess data/documents required from clients, and research all aspects of the assignment with the team to provide optimal solutions.
  • Support Partners /Principal by drafting memo's/ opinions and reports and building client relationships.
