Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

About the Role:

  • As a Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounts function, encompassing fund management, audit, working capital management, banking, MIS, IT, income tax matters, GST, VAT/Service Tax, and statutory compliance.
  • You will conduct monthly reviews of books of accounts and financial reports, ensuring accurate finalization of balance sheets, P&L, and other compliance.
  • Your responsibilities will include handling procure to pay, order to cash, Capex management, salary, and employee reimbursements.
  • You will have complete control over fixed assets.
  • You will analyze financial statement variances and provide cost-saving opportunities.
  • You will ensure timely completion of internal and external audits with zero major non-compliance issues.
  • You will prepare and finalize income tax returns, monthly GST returns, and TDS reconciliation.
  • You will manage daily cash flow and working capital.

Requirements and Skills:

  • An effective leader and team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in accounting systems, POS systems, and cost and inventory systems.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level attention to detail and ability to work independently or partner with others.

Candidates' Expectations:

  • Experience handling accounting operations across Pan India.
  • Familiarity with account receivable, account payable, fund management, internal and external audits, compliance, GST, and income tax act requirements.
  • Preferrable candidates have experience in QSR or retail industries.
