Job Title: Water System Operations Manager

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Water System Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of our water system, cooling tower, chiller, boiler, and other utility equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, minimizing downtime, and optimizing energy efficiency.

  • Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for all utility equipment, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for routine maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Implement spares management for utility systems, reducing inventory costs and minimizing stockouts.
  • Drive Energy Saving activities in the plant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma/B.Tech/BE in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in plant utility operations and maintenance, with a focus on water systems, chillers, HVAC systems, boilers, and steam distribution.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Energy Management Systems, Project Management, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
