Job Description

Tata Electronics is a greenfield venture with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

We are building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic.

This facility addresses the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

The goal of this project is to produce high-quality chips efficiently.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Yield Management System team for a 300mm Wafer Fab.
  2. Partner with Digital/IT team for design and development of the Yield Management software and Database
  3. Design and create a Data Integration framework that collects data from different sources.
  4. Yield Analysis Tools: Develop algorithms for data analysis to enable root cause understanding and yield optimization
  5. Partner with PI/YE, CFM teams and vendors to enable continuous system improvements
  6. Automation & Reporting: Generate Automated yield reports.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Engineering and Process Integration teams to get requirements to build the software to support yield management.
  8. Ensure reliability and scalability of the software for high volume data.
  9. Present updates to internal and customer senior executives.
  10. Travel as required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred.

Experience in data analysis, failure/defect analysis and yield improvement is necessary.

A strong understanding of device physics, process integration, yield improvement, failure mechanisms is required.

Familiarity with statistical techniques and data visualization techniques is needed.

Familiarity with operations dashboards is necessary.

Familiarity with process modules and metrology/defect inspection tools is required.

Familiarity with AI/ML basics is necessary.
