About this role

This dairy operations specialist will work closely with the plant manager to oversee daily operations at our dairy processing plant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy technology and experience in managing dairy plant operations.

This is a critical role that requires someone who can ensure efficient production processes, maintain high product standards, adhere to safety and environmental regulations, and lead plant staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety, environmental standards, and workplace safety.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply chain logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in dairy technology or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in heading dairy plant operations.
  • Experience in cheese production is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, management, and supervisory skills.
