Retail Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:

Manage a dynamic retail and warehouse operation, ensuring seamless coordination between store teams and warehouse teams. Develop strong relationships with logistics providers to negotiate optimal day-to-day operations. Conduct thorough analyses of inventory movement and identify root causes of issues. Ensure timely invoicing and reconcile transporter billing and invoices.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing entire retail operation and warehouse operation
  • Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Handling coordination between stores team and warehouse team for smooth operation
  • Negotiating and handling day-to-day operations with third-party logistics provider
  • Conducting invoicing and E-way billing
  • Reconciling Transporter Billing & Invoices
  • Analysis of Store Inward, Outward and identifying root cause of any issues
  • Inspecting goods for damages and discrepancies and reporting any issues
  • Shortening Inventory received at Store and Vice Versa
  • Inventory closing of any Inventory movement happens between Stores & Warehouses
  • Taking follow-ups with stores, Logistics and other teams
  • Making MIS report and circulating to respective and other departments
  • Managing core team of warehouse operations retail team
  • Performing daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports

Strong people management, cross-functional team and communications skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in managing at least 80 stores warehouse day-to-day operations
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
  3. Strong people management with cross-functional team and communications skills
  4. Knowledge of ERP/WMS like Vinculum is an added advantage and preferred
  5. Great communication
  6. Excellent customer service and people skills
