Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Silicon Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing test environment components to support the pre-silicon validation of embedded firmware, BIOS features, and other IP features of x86 based SOC.

  • Design and develop test environment components to support pre-silicon validation of embedded firmware, BIOS features, and other IP features of x86 based SOC.
  • Write directed tests to verify features in a co-simulated and emulated/FPGA hardware environment.
  • Develop monitors and checkers to support end-to-end firmware/hardware validation.
  • Create coverage goals and test plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience with BIOS/OS bring up on x86 based SOC emulation platform.
  • Knowledge of CPU, GPU, and Memory subsystem.
  • Familiarity with System Verilog, C/C++, or UVM for SOC verification.
  • Hands-on experience on Zebu/Palladium/Veloce platform to bring-up the SOC.
  • Ability to write and debug testbenches.
  • Understanding of Power Management Modes / SOC and IP power states.
  • Knowledge of PCIe/USB/Ethernet standards.
  • Experience in debugging SOC IO interfaces with Transactor solutions in emulation platform.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell, or TCL scripting.
