Job Overview:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of a QA team responsible for overall testing activities, strategies, and approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive testing documents to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Oversee proper execution of diverse types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc.).
  • Facilitate regular QA team meetings or triage calls to ensure seamless communication.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile environments to foster collaboration.
  • Manage risks and deliverables to guarantee that testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Software QA engineer.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA / AzureDevOps.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Desirable Skills:

  • Manual testing techniques.
  • Test planning and case development.
  • Regression testing methodologies.
  • SDLC knowledge.
  • Mentorship and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Jira/AzureDevOps.
