Job Title

Linux Embedded System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Embedded System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and customize Board Support Packages (BSPs) for target hardware, utilizing their knowledge of the Linux kernel, bootloaders, and device drivers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions.
  • Design, implement, and customize BSPs for target hardware.
  • Implement secure boot and update mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with hardware and application teams for system integration.
  • Provide debugging and root cause analysis for system-level issues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Embedded Linux development.
  • Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with the Yocto Project.
  • Solid knowledge of the Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.), and device drivers.
  • Proficiency in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains.
  • Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures.
  • Experience with build systems, version control (Git), and debugging tools.
