Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing quality assurance strategies to ensure the highest standards of quality for our products. This role requires strong technical leadership skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test execution reports to ensure thorough testing of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to identify and prioritize quality initiatives.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
  • Deploy microservices applications in Engineering environment and support the SRE team for production releases.
  • Improve processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
  • Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing root cause analysis whenever needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products and leading teams.
  • Experience on public or private Cloud platforms, certification of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Hands-on experience of functional UI and API automation.
  • Linux knowledge is must.
  • Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.
