Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products and services.

You will develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Beyond testing, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage. You will actively participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, providing updates on testing progress.

Maintaining and updating test cases, test scripts, and test documentation is crucial to this role. You will prepare regular test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.

In addition, you will provide feedback on processes and workflows to improve the overall quality assurance process. You will stay updated with the latest QA practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
