Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to design, configure, and optimize SCADA/HMI systems for real-time monitoring and control of plant floor operations. This role requires strong analytical skills to gather business and technical requirements from clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & System Design: Work closely with clients to understand their current processes and translate these needs into system designs using Ignition SCADA/HMI platforms.
  • Implementation & Optimization: Configure, deploy, and optimize Ignition systems for data visualization, process automation, and real-time monitoring. Ensure seamless integration with industrial devices such as PLCs and ERP systems.
  • Integration & Consultation: Leverage Ignition's OPC-UA, MQTT, and other industrial protocols for smooth data flow. Advise clients on best practices for Ignition implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Training & Documentation: Deliver end-user training to client teams on how to operate, configure, and maintain Ignition systems. Prepare detailed documentation for system configurations, custom scripts, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of experience working with industrial SCADA, HMI, or MES platforms.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation, including system design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or working directly with clients on industrial automation projects is highly preferred.
