Warehouse Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Director to lead our warehouse operations.

• Warehouse Operations Leadership
  • Direct and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, material handling, dispatch, and documentation. Ensure that all operations align with company policies, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels, prevent shortages or overstock situations, and facilitate timely replenishment and movement of materials. Implement cycle counts, reconciliation, and develop strategies to minimize inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure all warehouse processes adhere to regulatory guidelines, such as FDA, WHO, and local drug authorities. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all transactions goods receipt, issue, transfer, and disposal supporting traceability and audit-readiness.
  • Guarantee that APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and hazardous substances are stored under prescribed environmental conditions. Oversee temperature and humidity controls, segregation of materials, labeling, and security to prevent cross-contamination or deterioration.
  • Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide feedback to ensure high levels of team engagement and productivity.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to protect personnel and materials. Oversee compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations, conduct safety drills, and ensure the availability and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials, resolve discrepancies, and support production schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and technology adoption. Lead initiatives to automate warehouse operations, adopt barcoding or RFID systems, and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Supervise outbound logistics, ensuring that finished APIs and materials are dispatched in accordance with client specifications, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards. Manage transport arrangements and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits regulatory, client, or quality. Address observations, implement corrective actions, and maintain audit readiness at all times.
• Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, reconcile discrepancies, and track stock levels in real-time.
  • Implement effective inventory management systems, including cycle counting and ABC analysis, to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Team Management
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage open communication among warehouse staff.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
• Safety and Security
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, including regular training sessions and drills, to ensure personnel and equipment are protected from hazards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, free from risks and accidents, by monitoring and addressing potential hazards promptly.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction in a warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of warehouse staff.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
• Travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.
