We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Product – Supply Chain to lead product strategy and execution across our supply chain tech stack. This includes procurement, cold chain logistics, warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment, and real-time traceability. You will work closely with engineering, data science, operations, and business stakeholders to drive tech-enabled transformation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision : Define and own the supply chain product vision and roadmap aligned with company growth goals, ensuring resilience, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Cross-functional Leadership : Collaborate with Ops, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Build for Complexity : Develop products to handle complex, perishable inventory, multi-node warehouses, temperature-sensitive logistics, and hyperlocal demand forecasting.
- Tech Transformation : Lead initiatives to digitize and automate supply chain operations – WMS, TMS, OMS, and demand planning systems.
- Data-Driven Decisions : Use data and insights to prioritize product decisions and measure impact. Define product metrics to evaluate performance and optimize.
- Team Leadership : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers. Foster a culture of ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Partner Integration : Enable seamless tech integrations with logistics partners, ERP systems, and IoT/sensor platforms for temperature and shelf-life tracking.
- Compliance & Traceability : Ensure systems support FSSAI and other regulatory requirements around food safety, origin tracking, and auditability.
What We're Looking For?
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations-heavy domains
- Proven experience building enterprise-grade supply chain platforms (WMS, TMS, OMS, ERP integrations, forecasting tools)
- Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and perishables management
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen; experience working with large operational datasets
- Experience leading and mentoring teams of PMs in a high-growth environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- High bias for action and ownership
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to foodtech, D2C, or e-commerce operations
- Experience with IoT or sensor-based monitoring (temperature, humidity, etc.)
- MBA or relevant post-graduate degree is a plus
