Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving loan disbursement targets while maintaining minimum delinquency levels
- Identifying Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) and tailoring loan products to meet customer needs
- Developing and managing teams across assigned territories to achieve deeper market penetration and reach
- Assessing potential client base, product acceptability, and opportunities for geographic expansion
- Managing disbursement, repayment, and delinquency; achieving daily/weekly collections targets
- Closely following up on disbursed loans, particularly those delinquent or non-performing
- Conducting regular field visits, attending centre meetings, and interacting with loan applicants
- Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking and controlling normal dues, nonstarters, delinquencies, and potential frauds
- Building strong relationships with clients internally and externally, enhancing brand visibility and customer trust
- Ensuring daily/weekly meetings and centre visits are conducted as planned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Fresher to maximum X years of experience (as a Sales Officer in Microfinance business)
- Basic understanding of Microfinance business and JLG model operations is preferred
