Operational Excellence Specialist Job Description

Curia's Operational Excellence team seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive operational effectiveness and profitability across our global manufacturing sites.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with site leadership teams to establish performance metrics and track progress towards operational excellence goals.
  • Establish and maintain systems to track and analyze lost production causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct value stream mapping exercises to identify areas for improvement and develop process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of lean tools, 5S, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline and at least 5-8 years of experience in project/program management, operational excellence, or consulting. A certified Six Sigma Black Belt is highly desired, as well as strong technical skills and initiative.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Extensive previous experience in implementation of OE/CI projects in manufacturing (pharmaceutical preferred) environment.
  • Certified Six sigma Black Belt.
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma experience to drive business results.
