Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Developer to drive growth and expansion in our business partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in existing and new partnerships, and develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, employees, and decision-makers.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, challenges, and best practices, and share knowledge with partners and colleagues to drive business growth.
  • Client Relationship: Proactively identify, approach, and enhance strong relationships with key executives, decision-makers, and influencers at partner branches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in sales or distributor management, prior experience in insurance essential.
  • Result Orientation, Customer Centricity, Problem Solving.
Target Companies / Industry
  • Partnership distribution/Broking Sales & BD professionals from ICICI Pru, HDFC Life, TATA AIA, ABSLI, BALIC.
Measures of Success

The success of this role will be measured by the following key performance indicators:

  • Business Plan alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Adj MFYP (Rs.) - Plan v/s Actuals analysis.
  • Customer Score Quality metrics, including 13th month persistency (%) and Gross Insurance Revenue (GIR).
