Senior Financial Planning Specialist

Job Overview:
The Costing and Financial Planning Manager will oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholder review.
- Maintain accurate financial statements and reports to minimize risk.
- Implement cost control measures and track performance against targets.
- Analyze cost structures and identify areas for reduction to improve profitability.
- Review production orders and prepare variance by price and volume reports.
- Prepare cost sheets using process costing methods and analyze results.
- Improve tracking and allocation of overheads using Activity-Based costing.
- Conduct periodic factory and warehouse inventory audits to maintain accurate valuations.
- Identify and address slow-moving inventory issues to optimize stock levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ICWA or CMA qualification with 5 years of experience in Costing and Plant Accounting.
- Strong data handling and process management skills.
- Effective team leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
