About the Role:

As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be working closely with colleagues to develop and implement financial models that drive business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IFRS17 reporting activities and contribute to monthly/quarterly closing tasks
  • Analyze and optimize financial models for insurance products
  • Collaborate with pricing and underwriting teams to ensure accurate delivery of requirements
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools, including peer reviewing and comprehensive testing
  • Work with IT to integrate pricing tools within the company's landscape
  • Provide support on modeling initiatives and ensure proper documentation is in place
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or B.Tech with good academic background
  • Student member of a recognized Actuarial Institute and cleared at least 5 actuarial exams
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance domain, preferably working closely with Reserving and IT teams
  • Prior IFRS17 reporting experience
  • Strong programming skills in Excel, VBA, Python, and SQL
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with customers from different geographical areas
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
