About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics. You will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

This role involves planning, executing, and delivering technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget. A strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows is essential for success.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) is also desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. They should have at least 8 years of experience in project management within a technical environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Manage data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
  • Cloud Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall), proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
