Job Summary:
As a Customer Success Director at DigitalOcean, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase product adoption, customer loyalty, and retention. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create and optimize upsell and cross-sell strategies deployed by the customer success team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding retention and sales targets, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in customer success, preferably in a SaaS or technology-related industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customer success strategies to increase product adoption, customer loyalty, and retention.• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create and optimize upsell and cross-sell strategies deployed by the customer success team.• Recruit, mentor, and manage a customer success team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.• Utilize data and customer feedback to improve service delivery, customer engagement, and satisfaction levels.• Continuously review and optimize customer success processes and practices for efficiency and effectiveness.• Regularly report on customer success metrics and insights to the leadership team, informing strategic decisions.• Develop and implement compensation plans for the customer success team, with the goal of encouraging productivity and performance and rewarding customer-goal and business-goal achievement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in customer success, preferably in a SaaS or technology-related industry.• Proven experience in developing and implementing customer success strategies.• Strong analytical abilities and experience using data to inform decisions and strategies.• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset.• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding retention and sales targets.• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
