">Key Responsibilities:
">- Design plastic trims for vehicles using CATIA V5 software.
- Work with the structures team to define mounting strategies for trims.
- Coordinate with the testing team for component validation.
- Maintain and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for plastic trims and associated parts.
- Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to meet fit and finish requirements.
- Liaise between industrial design and body works teams for engineering solutions.
- Draft, release, and maintain drawings of plastic trims in 3D PLM software.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for best-suited engineering solutions.
Ideal Candidate:
">- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in plastic design, preferably in two-wheeler or four-wheeler product development.
- Relevant knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms like 3Ds.
- Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Serviceability (DFS).
- Well-versed in manufacturing aspects of injection moulding processes.
- Brief understanding of plastic mould flow analysis.
- Well-versed in engineering plastic material selection and properties.
