Rotary Equipment Design Manager

Job Description:

  • Lead a team of engineers in designing and developing high-performance rotary equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for rotary equipment designs.
  • Conduct regular design reviews to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of rotary equipment (such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and motors) from concept through to completion.
  • Lead troubleshooting and provide solutions for design challenges related to rotary equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of rotary equipment into the overall system design.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in the design, development, and engineering of rotary equipment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role in engineering design.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in heavy industries such as power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, or similar sectors.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of rotary machinery.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage an engineering team, providing guidance and ensuring project success.
  • Expertise in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, etc.) and simulation tools specific to rotary equipment design.
  • Strong project management skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, and cost control.
