Main Purpose:

Senior Lead Engineer Rotary Machines will be responsible for enhancing overall reliability, maximizing availability and efficiency of site rotary equipment across the lifecycle, including specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Carry out FMEA of various types of rotary equipment and implement Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) at sites.
  • Prepare, review and update specifications for new equipment; and standard maintenance procedures for operating equipment.
  • Review and update Condition Monitoring / Predictive Maintenance plans and schedules for all rotary equipment.
  • Conduct / review root Cause analysis and troubleshooting of chronic issues related to rotary equipment and recommend corrective measures.
  • Review, analysis and recommendations of spares management, obsolescence, critical planned / unplanned repairs, major overhauls and refurbishment of rotary equipment.
  • Conduct and witness performance testing of rotary equipment at site / vendor works.
  • Initiate and review modifications in rotary equipment to enhance reliability, availability and efficiency.
  • Initiate and review new equipment through minor projects / management of change, including equipment selection, specification, FAT / SAT, installation and commissioning.

Skills Required :

  • Hands-on knowledge of rotary equipment maintenance, vibration Analysis, lube oil Analysis and other Condition Monitoring techniques, including gas turbine generators, gas engines, pumps and compressors.
  • Hands-on knowledge of FMEA and RCM.
  • Hands-on knowledge of rotary equipment design and best practices, including API 610, 614, 616, 617, 618, 674, 681, 682 and 687.

Qualification:

  • Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred: Vibration Analysis – Level II certification.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in rotary equipment maintenance, condition monitoring and reliability, including minimum five years in Oil and Gas sector.
