About Us

We are an established special school, founded with a legacy in education. Our scenic campus provides a unique environment for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome.

We offer pre-vocational and vocational training programs, including the NIOS curriculum, supported by rehabilitation professionals providing physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to work with learners with multiple disabilities and guide participants in the NIOS Program.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Develops Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), tailored to each student's needs, in collaboration with parents, therapists, and other staff.
  • Delivers customised instruction to students based on their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Modifies the standard curriculum to meet the abilities of students with disabilities.
  • Implements and monitors behaviour intervention plans and uses positive behaviour supports.
  • Works closely with general education teachers, therapists, counsellors, and parents to support students' academic and social development.
  • Aassesses and tracks student performance and progress regularly, adjusting goals accordingly.
  • Maintains a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Maintains accurate student records, including attendance, assessments, and communications.
  • Participates in training and workshops to stay updated on special education practices, legal requirements, and instructional strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or P.G. Diploma or Master's degree in Special Education or equivalent in Multiple Disabilities.
  • 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive aids and devices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good organisational and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and specialised instructional strategies.
