Your Role:

As Financial Operations Director, you will lead our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational growth. You'll ensure we have the necessary resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Oversee fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, create pitch decks, and manage financial modeling and investor relations.
  • Design and execute robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Manage compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.

Operational Growth:

  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.

Scaling & Partnerships:

  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a significant advantage.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
