Offshore Solar Proposal Specialist

This is a critical role within the pre-sales and design team, responsible for preparing accurate, compliant, and customer-focused solar + battery proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop customized solar and battery proposals for residential and commercial projects, incorporating client requirements and site data to ensure optimal results.
  • Perform system sizing and load calculations, utilizing industry-standard tools to simulate system performance and optimize configurations.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to refine designs and respond to client feedback, ensuring all proposals meet Australian solar compliance standards and technical guidelines.
  • Maintain organized documentation and version control of all proposals and design files, facilitating efficient collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 1–2 years' experience in solar and battery proposal/design, with a strong understanding of solar PV systems, battery storage, and hybrid configurations.
  • Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as Excel, PVSyst, Helioscope, and ability to interpret electrical load profiles and design systems accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup, with flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project demands.
