Job Title: Executive Culinary Director

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced culinary leader to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and adherence to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • This role requires overseeing day-to-day kitchen activities, including food preparation and presentation, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • The ideal candidate will plan, create, and update innovative menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences, driving revenue growth through menu engineering and cost control.
  • Key responsibilities also include managing inventory, placing orders for ingredients and equipment, and controlling food costs while minimizing waste.
  • In addition, this position requires ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, conducting regular kitchen audits, and supervising, training, and managing all kitchen staff.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for approving and inspecting all dishes before service to ensure top quality and consistency, addressing operational or quality issues promptly, and collaborating with management for menu costing and planning special events or promotions.
  • Furthermore, the individual will stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and best practices, building relationships with local vendors to source quality ingredients and contributing to the development of new recipes and menu items.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management is preferred, along with a minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and management skills are essential, as well as familiarity with kitchen equipment, menu planning, food costing, and inventory systems.
  • The ideal candidate should also possess proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management software.
