Senior Network Test Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Test Lead to spearhead our testing efforts for networking solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop comprehensive test plans in collaboration with project stakeholders, defining testing scope and objectives that align with our business goals. You will lead efforts to enhance testing methodologies, aiming for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

As a leader, you will guide QA engineers in adopting best practices and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive test plans for networking solutions, utilizing your expertise in networking protocols and technologies to define testing scope and objectives.
  • Participate in functional and technical discussions to analyze design specifications, identify performance concerns, and ensure the test environments and infrastructures are properly configured and up-to-date.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools, leveraging Python for automation to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts using Python and relevant networking tools, ensuring alignment with quality standards and reducing risk exposure.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers in using the testing framework and automation tools, enhancing their technical capabilities to improve productivity and promote best practices in network testing.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching).
  • Proficient in Python for test automation, with experience in relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Selenium).
  • Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices in the context of networking solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance testing and optimization.
