We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to proactively manage and monitor network performance on customer networks around the clock, 7x24, to meet customer Service Level expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot network platform issues, including alarm and KPI monitoring.
  • Issue Investigation and Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and triage network issues, communicating event status and coordinating root cause analysis.
  • Complex Issue Mitigation: Mitigate and remediate complex technology fault conditions spanning multiple production platforms and environments.
  • System Configuration Management: Proactively monitor and maintain system configurations to achieve designed performance and reliability levels using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis on network faults and effectively manage ISPs and equipment vendors.
  • Customer Communication: Articulate well with customer technical and management staff on network issues, including fault reporting, status updating, and handling escalation.
  • Problem Isolation and Resolution: Perform problem isolation and resolution, including verifying AT&T services and working with ISPs for circuit-related issues.
  • Scheduling: Schedule testing tasks with ISPs, customer site personnel, and other AT&T support centers.
  • Communication Facilitation: Facilitate direct communication among customers, AT&T, and suppliers by establishing conference meetings, updating AT&T problem ticketing systems, and using operation-related tools.
  • Tiered Support Interface: Request and interface with AT&T Tiered supports and Service Management to address customer issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of network platforms, alarm systems, and KPIs.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with AT&T services and operations.
