AI Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking experienced AI regulatory specialists to support the design and deployment of an AI-driven regulatory horizon scanning solution.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of prudential and transaction reporting frameworks, including Basel III/IV, EMIR Refit, MiFID II, SFTR, Dodd-Frank, CFTC, SEC, MAS, HKMA, APRA, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor global and regional regulatory bodies for new and updated regulations, consultation papers, and guidance.
  • Build and optimize AI-enabled pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured regulatory publications.
  • Automate the classification of regulatory documents using NLP, LLMs, and machine learning to identify topics, obligations, timelines, and impacted regulations.
  • Regulatory Analysis & Impact Mapping
  • Extract obligations and key data requirements from regulatory texts, speeches, consultation papers, and technical standards.
  • Map regulatory changes to the bank's reporting frameworks/reporting solution and internal policies.
  • Support impact assessments for upcoming regulations such as climate risk reporting.
Requirements:
  • 6-10+ years of experience in financial services, regulatory reporting, compliance, or RegTech projects.
  • Prior experience implementing AI-driven regulatory change monitoring or regulatory technology platforms.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (RPA, workflow orchestration) to streamline regulatory processes.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with AxiomSL RegCoPILOT, Quantexa, Wolters Kluwer, Moody's RiskIntegrity, NICE Actimize, etc. to embed AI agents into existing regulatory change management workflows.
