Corporate Credit Analyst Job Opportunity

The role of Corporate Credit Analyst involves working closely with stakeholders to manage credit analysis for corporate clients across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis and a strong understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, including annual reviews and limit renewals.
  • Manage end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings, collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank or asset manager environment.
  • Strong motivation to move into a more transaction-driven environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance).

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be beneficial.
