A wireless network engineer is responsible for deploying, managing and optimizing wireless networks using AI-driven platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Deployment & Configuration: Implement and configure wireless solutions, including Wi-Fi 6/6E access points and integration with switches.
  • Ai-Driven Operations: Utilize Marvis AI to monitor network performance, automate troubleshooting, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct RF planning and tuning, manage channel assignments, and ensure optimal wireless coverage and capacity.
  • Security Management: Implement wireless security protocols such as WPA2/3 and 802.1X, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address network issues and implement enhancements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in wireless networking concepts, including 802.11 standards and WLAN lifecycle management.
  • Juniper Mist Experience: Hands-on experience with Juniper Mist AI platform, including configuration and management of wireless networks.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze network performance data and make informed decisions to enhance network efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Multi-Vendor Environments: Experience working in environments with multiple networking vendors.
  • Cloud Networking: Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions and the ability to manage and troubleshoot cloud-managed wireless networks.
  • Project Management: Experience leading network deployment projects, including planning, execution, and post-project review.
