Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a Senior Consultant – Delay & Quantum role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delay analysis, quantum assessment, claim preparation, and contract management within the construction and arbitration domain.

This position requires expertise in evaluating project delays, quantifying claims, preparing robust reports, and providing strategic advice on dispute resolution. The candidate should be adept at handling complex construction disputes, offering analytical insights, and managing contractual and financial risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and conduct detailed forensic delay analysis.
  • Identify and substantiate delayed events, disruptions, and variations impacting the critical path.
  • Prepare and defend comprehensive EOT, disruption, prolongation, and quantum-related claims in line with contractual requirements.
  • Assist in cost analysis, quantity surveying, financial assessments, and evaluation of claims.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, advising on risks, obligations, and entitlements.
  • Provide insights on cost estimation, budgeting, variations, and commercial risk assessment.
  • Support arbitration, mediation, and litigation by preparing and defending claims.
  • Contribute to client assignments and project execution while staying updated on industry practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Arbitration, or Delay Analysis are preferred.
  • Experience: 7-9 yrs of extensive experience in construction claims, arbitration, dispute resolution, and contract management, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Delay Analysis/EOT, Critical Path Method (CPM), Planning & Scheduling Tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and Forensic Planning.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
