
Project Coordination Specialist

Job Description:
This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the project closeout process across various stages, from initial setup through final turnover. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.
Main Responsibilities:
- Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
- Maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with team members to verify information accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through the RMA process, ensuring items are recorded accurately in warehouse and PeopleSoft systems.
- Maintain regular communication with Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
- Assist scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required and serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality team.
- Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping team as necessary.
- Own the final turnover package, including reviewing deliverables submitted by General Contractor (GC), regularly following up with GCs regarding deliverables, and suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents for revision.
- Act as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft, new Purchase Orders assigned to Closeout Coordinator in Smartsheet.
- Manage all JVizion (JV) tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
- Ongoing follow-up on punch list items and monitoring EHS tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years industry experience required.
- Good understanding of engineering concepts required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications required.
- Engineering certification in related discipline preferred.
- Working knowledge of industry standard materials preferred.
- Construction management background and telecommunication experience beneficial.
- Able to support US Eastern Time Zone.
Education:
Recognized degree from accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience.
