Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to provide technical leadership and mentorship across our SaaS real estate platform.

  • As a key member of the team, you will oversee system performance and reliability, providing guidance and oversight to ensure seamless operations.

This role requires strong technical expertise, including proficiency in PHP/Laravel development, hands-on experience with Kubernetes and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

In addition, we require experience with observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana) and scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. A proven track record in maintaining high-availability, high-performance production environments is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering roles, with 1+ year's experience working on a SaaS platform. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure system performance and reliability.
  2. Design and implement solutions to improve platform reliability with mitigation strategies and operational playbooks.
  3. Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive incident response.
  4. Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and blameless post-mortems.
  5. Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability.
  6. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code.
  7. Monitor and optimize databases for high availability and performance.
  8. Partner with product engineering teams to deliver observable, resilient software.
  9. Contribute to defining SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs across teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering roles.
  • 1+ years' experience working on a SaaS platform.
  • Proficient in PHP/Laravel development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, Ansible or CloudFormation).
  • Scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
