The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, manage audits, and achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities include performing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, establishing robust checks and controls, coordinating and managing internal and external audits, reviewing and finalizing financial statements and reports, developing and implementing internal controls and financial policies, working closely with business heads to provide financial insights and strategic support, liaising with banks, auditors, and government authorities for financial and statutory matters, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations.
- Establish robust checks and controls within each task to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with business heads to provide financial insights and strategic support.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities for financial and statutory matters.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
