Logistics Management Position Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers worldwide.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Procure materials from authorized suppliers, manage local and import purchases, and coordinate with customs agents for clearance.
  2. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, manage clearing costs, and liaise with finance teams for on-time payments.
  3. Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of materials and necessary SAP entries.
  4. Manage documentation and bill of entry on behalf of customers, ensuring timely delivery in SEZ/high sea sales.
  5. Oversee supply chain management of bulk materials, handle export to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Dubai, and Singapore, and facilitate courier custom clearing of samples.
  6. Ensure statutory compliances are followed for merchant export and provide inputs in new product creation, including HSN code, custom duty, and licenses required in India.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Education and Qualifications: Relevant degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of logistics processes, excellent communication and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in SAP and other relevant software.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar role.
