Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to lead our team in the development of innovative solutions.

About the Role:

  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Utilize expertise in DFM analysis to optimize product design, minimize production costs, and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
  • PCB Process Expertise: Apply knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly, and test development to drive product success.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members in effective deliverables, train new staff on relevant software and tools, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PCBA process, IPC standards, PCB design, electronics component packages, and DFx procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-7 years' experience in DFx methodologies, PCBA DFM process, DFT, and DFA analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical thinking, coaching, conflict resolution, reporting, and decision-making abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and improve product design for manufacturability, ensuring optimal production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for PCBA and PCB processes.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to define and prioritize project objectives, allocate resources effectively, and manage timelines.
  4. Mentor junior team members, provide guidance, and support their professional growth.
