Job Title: Operational Risk Management Lead

This role involves leading and managing independent projects across operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, SOP development, third-party risk management, incident management, and business continuity for financial institutions.

  • Prepare detailed project plans for timely delivery.
  • Review, verify, and validate existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk matrices for theoretical soundness and identify control weaknesses.
  • Meet business needs and regulatory expectations by assessing key aspects of each area under review.
  • Demonstrate independence in planning and stakeholder engagement, testing design and execution, results interpretation, and presentation.
  • Provide regular updates on project execution and quality reviews.

Stakeholder management and project management are essential skills for this role.

\Requirements:\

The ideal candidate will have:

\
  • 9-12 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in the BFSI industry.
  • CA, ACCA, MBA, or any other relevant master's program.
  • Project Management and ORM certifications are beneficial.
  • Experience with GRC tools such as MetricStream and SAP GRC is an advantage.
  • Excellent MS-Excel, Word, and PPT skills.

A deep understanding of global and Indian frameworks, methodologies, and standards on process risk and controls is required. Very strong understanding of the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles is also necessary.
