Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Duration: 6 months with potential extension.

Working hours: Full EST hours, including night shifts.

Location: 100% remote.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions, as well as a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS).
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
