At Indication Instruments Limited, we are seeking a skilled Acquisitions Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the timely procurement of materials, machinery, and equipment required by our engineering or manufacturing teams.

This position involves close collaboration with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, guarantee quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identifying reliable suppliers and establishing strong relationships to secure the best possible deals.
  • Procurement Process: Overseeing the entire procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Working closely with suppliers to ensure that all materials and equipment meet our high quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Analyzing costs and developing strategies to optimize expenses and stay within budget.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate procurement activities and ensure seamless execution.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
