Front Desk Manager

Job Overview:

The Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless guest experiences during the night hours. They are responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, handling check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly and efficiently, addressing their needs promptly.
  • Manage Reservations: Handle room reservations, arrange wake-up calls, and coordinate taxi services as needed.
  • Process Transactions: Post room charges, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain Hotel Operations: Balance cash drawers, track key financial metrics, and prepare end-of-day reports for hotel management.
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring seamless communication with other departments.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of experience at a managerial level in a similar environment.
  • Strong math and accounting skills, proficiency in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong organizational abilities.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
