Key Positions: Backend Developer

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Backend Developer with exceptional skills in Go or Rust to drive our technical endeavors forward. This role presents an ideal opportunity for a meticulous professional who thrives in low-level protocol work, is well-versed in DeFi mechanics, and can craft robust data pipelines that fuel real-time pricing engines.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop sophisticated event decoders for prominent DeFi protocols such as Uniswap, Curve, and Balancer.
  • Design and maintain efficient data extractors that transform on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, encompassing swap routing, liquidity pool mathematics, and price inference.
  • Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to build scalable and high-performance data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models, including TWAP, oracle logic, and tick-based price resolution.
  • Compose clean, well-documented, and efficient backend code in Go or Rust.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in backend development using Go or Rust.
  • A deep understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, specifically knowledge of AMM math: constant product formulas (x * y = k), Uniswap V3 ticks, TWAP / oracle logic, and familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Expertise in building data extraction or indexing tools, such as subgraphs or custom indexers.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
