Backend Software Developer Role Summary

Job Description:

As a senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of scalable systems. This involves owning and leading the development of critical features or services across the backend.

This role requires close collaboration with architects to design systems that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable. You will be responsible for writing clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.

A seamless integration between backend services and front-end applications is also crucial. To achieve this, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration.

You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions. Additionally, you will champion engineering best practices such as peer reviews and CI/CD hygiene.

In terms of innovation and tooling, you will leverage AI tools to streamline development and testing workflows. You will also explore new frameworks and tooling to improve team productivity and code quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in software development with strong backend skills
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and version control
  • Strong problem-solving skills
