Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to lead our cross-functional development teams in delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving capacity planning, delivery alignment, and ensuring timely hiring and onboarding of resources with the right skill sets. They will also define and monitor clear performance goals and KPIs for technical team members, using data to track progress and enable targeted improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead large (20+ people), cross-functional development teams in a fast-paced eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Capacity Planning: Drive capacity planning and delivery alignment with lead product owner, business owners, and product owners for upcoming roadmaps.
  • Talent Management: Ensure timely hiring and onboarding of internal and partner resources with the right skill sets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor clear performance goals and KPIs for technical team members, using data to track progress and enable targeted improvements.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and report on delivery progress, escalating risks and proposing solutions proactively.
  • Team Management: Act as hierarchical manager for internal + external team members, conducting regular evaluations and fostering growth.
  • Partner Management: Maintain strong relationships with delivery partners, evaluating their quality and value regularly.
  • Process Improvement: Foster a data-driven culture to guide decisions, surface issues early, and continuously improve team performance.
  • Impediment Removal: Identify and eliminate delivery impediments so that projects are delivered according to timelines, quality, and budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in a delivery/sourcing management role.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional development teams in a fast-paced eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset, high proactivity, and follow-through on commitments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • General knowledge of technology stacks relevant to eCommerce and the ability to engage effectively with engineers, architects, and developers.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in product-based companies is highly desirable.
