Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses, preparing reagents, sterilizing equipment and materials, filtering samples, and recording data as appropriate.

About the Role

  • Perform complex microbiological laboratory analyses of drinking and wastewater samples, and other materials as necessary.
  • Prepare reports evaluating treatment plant performance and distribute data summaries to clients.
  • Work with clients to provide specialized services, including root cause analysis investigations and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Collect samples from various sources using approved procedures.
  • Follow established methods and quality control records.
  • Read, calculate, and record data in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Perform rapid test methods and confirmation tests on suspect samples.
  • Pipette sample solution into tubes or plates according to the analysis process.
  • Support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and support laboratory management in implementing, maintaining, and improving the management system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Read, enter, and evaluate process control samples.
  • Support root cause analysis investigations and suggest corrective actions.
  • Candidates must participate in cleaning schedules and maintain retain samples as required.
  • Must keep up-to-date on assigned training and adhere to all safety policies.
