Job Title: Fixed Income Trader

Overview:

The Fixed Income Trader plays a pivotal role in our organization, driving revenue growth through astute trading strategies and maintaining adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the fixed income trading desk, actively engaging in capital markets with a focus on profitability.
  • Manage proprietary trading activities across various fixed income instruments, including government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Interest Rate Futures (IRF), and Corporate Bonds.
  • Identify and capitalize on new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenarios, generating profitability through trading in SLR and Non-SLR.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
  • Nurture relationships with representatives from banks, primary dealers, mutual funds, insurance funds, and brokerages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess an MBA in Finance/Economics from a reputable institution or CA/CFA certification, accompanied by an excellent academic record.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in onshore INR Macro Trading and familiarity with the Indian rates market.
  • Hold at least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), and Interest Rate Futures (IRF).
  • Be well-versed with CCIL applications, including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platforms.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Money Market and debt market along with regulatory requirements/compliance.
  • Display a strong track record of revenue generation.
  • Possess exceptional relationship-building skills and presentation abilities.
