Senior Credit Analyst
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: VP NBFC
Department: NBFC
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage the entire deal cycle from sourcing, due diligence, market analysis, deal structuring, and closure in close collaboration with senior team members.
2. Conduct in-depth review of Borrower's financial statements and business model while underwriting proposals.
3. Provide detailed overview of industry, risk analysis and mitigation.
4. Prepare financial models, appraisal notes and presentation to the Credit Committee.
5. Coordinate with consultants for timely completion of due diligence pertaining to financial, legal, and other matters as required.
6. Review and finalize transaction documents prior to execution.
7. Ensure transactions executed and disbursed are performing as per transaction documents and representations and in line with credit policies.
8. Collaborate with operations team to take corrective action in case of divergence.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the existing debt portfolio.
2. Grow into an origination role with added responsibility to source transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years of overall experience and 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, investment banking.
2. Experience working with Banks, NBFCs, Investment Banking, Financial Advisory domain preferred.
3. Proficient in MS Office.
4. Well-versed in financial analysis and underwriting methods for evaluation of credit proposals.
5. Experience of working in sector agnostic environment.
6. Positive attitude, assertive, result-oriented, self-motivated.
