As a Team Leader - Stewarding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities and operating equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and quality level of products and services to meet the highest standards.
- Ensure that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions while cleaning machinery to prevent accidents.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure proper receiving upon return to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Participate in monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll-related documents prior to submission to the Department Head.
- Attend all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to ensure open communication flow amongst the team.
- Assure that emergency exits are always in clean condition and absolutely free of any obstacle, with the exit door easy to open from inside.
- Preferrably hold a diploma in hospitality or HSSC.
- At least 5 years of previous experience, with 1 year in a similar role.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities are essentials.
No remote work.
